Certified Associate in Project Management CAPM The CAPM® recognizes a demonstrated understanding of the fundamental knowledge, processes and terminology as defined in A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide) that are needed for effective project management performance  Look out for a new version (V4) of the PMBok end 2008!
Once previous education and experience have been validated, the delegate will take a three-hour, 150 question multiple choice examination
The exam is computer based, taking place at a variety of designated test centres throughout the world. Delegates are responsible for booking the exam through PMI's web site
The CAPM credential examinations are offered globally at Prometric Testing Centers. You cannot schedule your examination appointment until you receive your eligibility notification and have submitted payment
