Qualification overview .....
The Chartered Project Professional (ChPP) will become a mark that
recognises all professionals working in project management including
project and programme managers and specialists such as planners, risk
managers and project controllers
The name positions
project professionals alongside professionals from industries such as
IT, Quality Management and Engineering. It will also allow APM, in the
future, to licence the register to other bodies, allowing applicants to
register as Chartered Project Professionals and remain a member of their
own professional institute
Applicants will demonstrate suitability by:
• completing a competence assessment
• providing evidence of current and relevant CPD
• submitting a CV and references including a personal statement
• completing a peer group interview
• signing up to a Code of Conduct
Organisational
Chartered status awarded to APM is expected Mid-2009 and implementation
of a Register of Chartered Project Professionals Mid-2010
